Becky and Jeff started Highland Brook Stables in 2008, on a small farm in Halifax, MA. There was just enough land and turn out space to create a small, but fun place to come and ride. There were private trails, and a large outdoor ring, but the usual harsh New England winters had them searching for a place with a roomy indoor. After leasing some facilities, they decided it was time to purchase their own place. Upon finding a wonderful property in Plympton, MA, they began building a facility that they could design on their own.
Building your own horse farm is a difficult process, but they are determined. A new barn, turn out paddocks, and riding ring are all being planned for this year. It will be a gradual build, but well worth it in the end. Check back often to see their progress, and watch the new farm grow right before your eyes!
"We are so lucky to have made some great friends through our business, and we hope to share our new farm with them soon. Running a farm is a labor of love, a passion, and a dream come true. We couldn't do it without having so many great people in our lives! We hope to see everyone for our Grand Opening!"
